One canNOT JUST assume a word to fit their own definitions, it that was allowed the world would be screwed and everyone would be UNhappy. For example: A bitch is defined by what the person thinks it means. To some people like Stanley and Zheng Wei they like to mock your mum, who to them is like a bitch. In simpler words a Song is a a piece of music with lyrics/words involved, I guess only Song* Xuan and Danielle know how to use the word Song PROPERLY in its context.
*the last time I checked, Zong Xuan's name was spelled with a Z and NOT an S, if Song* Xuan did change his name, do please inform me. And I'd expect members of Song* Xuan's class to know how to PROPERLY spell their beatboxing classmate's name.
To Danielle, a Song is music with lyrics, so her definition's ok. To Song* Xuan, beatboxing is music, I agree seeing as he makes the music and "sings" with it, so once again his definition's ok too. Kudos to you two sane people.

1) Lets say that life is a Song. (Which it isn't but nevermind I'll play along.)
2) A Song is made up of music and lyrics. (Didn't you JUST mention that basically a song doesn't need lyrics?)
3) Music is essential because you cant call a Song, a Song when its JUST lyrics. (once again MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!)

5) Lyrics arent** the most important since a Song without lyrics is still a song(instrumental). (NOT really, an instrumental is considered a piece of music.)

6) But lyrics add meaning to the Song. So im** saying, love adds meaning to life the same way. (Lyrics do NOT merely add meaning to a song as I stated in the above section, in the dictionary extract, in the previous post, in the current post and so on and so forth(really you should read carefully), they are an important part which MAKES it a song.)

1. As stated above, there are 2 important things which make up a song, music and lyrics. Lyrics which are a form of speech, regardless of what language and of what species. Song which basically is a form of rhythmic sound.
2. Thus if life was a song(bit demeaning), then certain necessities of life must be music and lyrics.
3. Lyrics like you stated merely add meaning to a song, this is false(see above: EVERYTHING!!).
4. However according to YOUR definition of lyrics(love), then lyrics(love) is NOT a necessity and ONLY adds meaning.
5. Your definition of lyrics is wrong but definition of love is right. Lyrics are necessities and NOT JUST a meaning-adder. Love however is like you stated, NOT a necessity. These two canNOT be assumed to be each other.
6. If your definition of love is to JUST to add meaning to life and isn't a necessity, then HOW can it be considered as the lyrics to a song. The relationship between love and a life and lyrics and a song is very different.
7. ∴If life is a song, food, air and water are the music and the lyrics. Love has no place in such an intricate equation.

Eng was extremely weird, we(Bernard, Ernest, Raghav and I) were having a mass convo on msn when we're sitting 2 chairs apart, then we were going on and on about JL watching pr0n, after that we crapped on movies starring BONG, like BONGtatouille, Alien VS BONG, BONG Ultimatum, basically our IQ dropped by approximately tenfold after all that garbage. Oh and we rushed to queue for positions for our prepared speech, and JL rushed there and put her name as first, thinking that it was a merely a session for chatting with Valles about our chosen topics, then I was so kind as to enlighten her. The shock and disbelief on her face made my day, hehe..
Bball was bit depressing, ruining JL's face of horror and WTFness. A-div won though, kudos to their whole team!! As for my C-div, we lost though thanks to a certain person who if his IQ and waist-length were equal, he'd be smarter then GOD. There were several things that really pissed me off, but I have no intention of going through it again, once IS enough.
